The United States and its allies have pledged to cut carbon emissions 26 percent by 2025.
But the country is also trying to balance that with the need to get to 100 percent renewable energy sources by 2050.
It’s a complicated task that will be tested by the U,S.
and other nations meeting the Paris climate goals.
And it’s a challenge that will likely go up in smoke in the coming weeks.
