Al Jazeera: Al Jazeera’s team in Myanmar to interview a Rohingya refugee

Al Jazeera has invited a team of journalists to Myanmar to film their own story of a Rohingya Muslim refugee in Rakhine State, which has been under curfew since late August.

The team, comprising a former journalist, will film on the streets of Myanmar, the home of the world’s Rohingya Muslim minority, and the villages they’ve been forced to flee to since August.

Al Jazeera’s Myanmar correspondent, Mohamed Ibrahim, will accompany the team and will film from the outskirts of Yangon.

The journalists will be accompanied by the UN refugee agency UNHCR and a local NGO that helps refugees find work.
